Customer Service & Fulfillment Representative

SermonView is seeking a customer service representative to handle inbound sales calls, consult with customers to match their needs with our solutions, and ensure products are ordered and shipped on time.

While this Representative will take some orders for various product lines, a large portion of their time will be focused on our event marketing vertical market - communicating the status of orders with customers and ensuring all promotional resources are produced in time for promoting the customer’s event. The Representative oversees the flow of jobs through our jobs console after they have been entered by the sales team, customer service representatives, or directly by customers through one of our website properties. With a keen eye for timelines, this person will work with customers, internal sales & design departments, as well as third-party print vendors to produce all print resources sold by the company.

Responsibilities include:
  • Receive customer orders by phone, email, or chat.
  • Gather required information for each order.
  • Watch event timelines and be proactive about keeping orders on schedule.
  • Work with multiple teammates to ensure custom jobs are entered into the production system.
  • Order all customer resources from the correct print vendors.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure all their needs have been met.
  • Maintain vendor lists and relations to keep the best pricing.
What skills we are looking for:
  • Strong communication skills - You love customer service and don’t mind interacting with customers to match their needs with our products. You want to help solve customer problems, but you are also able to lead a conversation to the right conclusion.
  • Technical skills - You are comfortable on computers and can find your way around Google Suite, CRM programs, basic spreadsheet knowledge, etc.
  • Customer focus - You want to do what is best for both the customer and the company.
  • Organized - You appreciate systems and can manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Attention to Detail - You can handle repetitive yet complex tasks. You have an active mind that can recognize red flags or when timelines may slip and can adapt quickly.

Requirements and qualifications:
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience and a high school diploma.
  • The position must be able to work in an environment with limited supervision and be capable of independent problem-solving with strong time management.
  • Experience working with pastors and lay leaders of churches, as well as an understanding of the print and marketing industries, are definite bonuses.

Travel: None.

Compensation: $16.50-18.00 / hour, depending on experience, plus paid leave and individualized benefits allowance.

Work Schedule: Regular full-time position budgeted for 36-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Hourly, non-exempt employment classification.

Online Marketing Specialist

At SermonView, each teammate wears multiple hats while hitting deadlines, and communicates progress to teammates proactively. We are looking for an Online Marketing Specialist who loves data and wants to take ownership of the digital marketing role.

The Specialist must be a self-starter and organized, be able to focus, commit to project timelines and scope, and have a strong desire to learn how we serve our clients. You love testing, learning what works (and what doesn’t) and make improvements to your marketing strategies as they develop.

In this role it is critical that you are analytical. You have experience and comfort working with data and making informed decisions that increase the impact and performance of our efforts and feel comfortable discussing campaigns and strategy.

Responsibilities include:
  • Creating, implementing, and optimizing marketing campaigns through Google Ads (primarily search), Facebook, Instagram, and email for both the company’s clients and internal needs.
  • Develop and manage search, social, and email marketing campaigns for a variety of clients across multiple industries.
  • Maintain the company’s Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads accounts.
  • Investigate campaign performance to understand trends and identify successes and opportunities.
  • Develop multi-touch digital strategies in alignment with the company’s goals to engage prospects and existing customers, progressing them through the sales funnel.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Sales Managers to keep the company’s website messaging and copy updated while maintaining the end-user’s positive experience. Perform routine site audits, as well as ongoing maintenance, on an as-needed basis.


Skills we are looking for:
  • Self-starter with an innate curiosity and drive to test, learn, adapt and be agile in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Experience in developing and optimizing digital ads across key social, email, and web marketing platforms.
  • Background in website layout/user interface maintenance using standard HTML/CSS practices.
  • Fluent in email marketing best practices (template design, CTAs, automation).
  • A firm grasp of Excel and or Google Spreadsheets, including reading and writing formulas.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with getting your “hands dirty” investigating numbers.
  • Google Data Analytics Certification or other digital marketing certifications a plus.
  • Shown capability to use data to drive business decisions & marketing optimization.
  • The ability to work effectively solo and within a team environment.

Experience Requirements:

    Vertical Market Manager

    As our Vertical Market Manager for Adventist Ministries, you will lead the sales and marketing teams, handle business development, and help develop growth strategies for this market. Your focus will be on growing and maintaining existing business/ministry relationships for our event marketing, lead generation, and website product lines.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Managing of our team of Sales and Marketing professionals.
    • Providing support to the Sales department, including direct customer sales as well as conference-wide event contracts.
    • Identifying and pursuing opportunities to connect with denominational leaders.
    • Driving key performance metrics and meeting department-wide quarterly goals.
    • Working with our creative departments to develop marketing campaigns that connect with existing and new customers to achieve revenue goals.
    • Owning the P&L for the department, including budgeting and revenue targets.
    • Working closely with our Production Manager to ensure customer orders are fulfilled correctly and customer satisfaction is high.

    What skills we are looking for:
    • Solid understanding of basic marketing principles and experience with marketing campaigns
    • Proven ability to meet goals and deadlines
    • Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service and excellent communication skills
    • A firm grasp of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including reading and writing formulas
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Ability to manage people and inspire their best performance

    Qualifications:
    • 2+ years management experience (preferably sales management)
    • 3+ years business-to-business or business-to-nonprofit sales experience
